Louis Armstrong was one of the most famous people in music history. He was the first African American black jazz musician. Louis Armstrong was born on August 4th 1901 and died July 6th 1971. Some of the nicknames that Louis Armstrong had was "Satchmo" or "Pops" His most played instrument was the trumpet. He also had many famous songs such as: What a wonderful world- 1967, Hello Dolly!- 1964, and Mack the knife- 1955.
